Day-5
Okay, let me first thank you for opening this to read and apologize as this heading has nothing to do with the content I just found it very eye catching! This morning started by bidding farewell to our temporary residence at Indore and the Dhurandhars left for Bhopal. But there was one thing remaining in our bucket list and we may be sushegaad but we never give up, and the one thing which was result of faulty planning was the European style exquisite Lal Bag palace, which appearantly we missed due lack of information that Monday is a sarkari holiday in MP.
Classic example of 18 century Indo-European architecture, a lavish property with French chandelier, British pillars, Mediteranean timber, Gold plated dinning sets, and a personal office of Maharaja which will make President Trump jealous of his oval, like whole wealth of the Holkars is concentrated in this masterpiece. Sad part is no camera and phones are allowed inside so if you want to verify my facts youll actually have to visit the palace.
After spending the morning exploring the wealth of princely India, a little time was spared to acknowledge the main organisers of the tour the History department , by visiting the Indira Gandhi manav sangrahalay, which focused on the anthropological part of the tribes and trials found on the central highlands of the nation.
And that was that.( Actually that wasnt that evening was spent shopping through the streets of Bhopal, but its not worth mentioning as most of the population on this tour was from the female kind of species). So after spending around 6 fruitful days in heart of India, the dhurandhars were all set to return back to their 'Goi' with heart and stomach filled with generous hospitality of the MPians and learning an important lesson in life that MP is not same as UP. With all those memories they were set to being their second/fourth/sixth sem with a fresh,enthusiastic and energetic start!
Here comes the first series of my blog to an end. Forgive me if anybody felt offended, and if any sub par language or content was used do bear with this ameateur blogger/traveller as he learns to explore the world on his own or either with someone! And yes goenkars are indeed sushegaad this tour happened and Im typing the conclusive paragraph on June 20 2018, so yeah !
