And Dhope travels

Ok, to be honest i am not at all an outdoor person. Im like those whose best evenings are spent at home around some interesting books or tv series. But as one enters the late teenage and the college life one experiences exertion of some strange chemicals in brain which makes you take some strange decisions and do something different or out of the box. So being an indoor person my travel database goes as far as Mumbai in the north and Chennai in the South, apart from Ponda-Panjim daily voyage. First time this idea of undertaking such unexpected journeys to wonderlands struck me last year when I was in the library bunking lecture with my friend, where we had indulged ourselves in making those "vacation plans", where a group of friends stratergise about voyages theyll undertake in vacations. And we both reached a common "island" after minutes of negotiations Andaman and Nicobar island. And that concludes the first tour or travel of my life.

Time flew at its normal rate (ive just added this metaphor to make this post look more creative) and one fine day in college one gentleman came(assistant history professor) and announced a lucrative study tour to Madhya Pradesh.

Half of the students confused it with Uttar Pradesh. Being the heart of incredible India and for a while feturing in the list of BIMARU states most students submitted their names just to spend few weeks away from Goa with no idea where they were heading to and why. The organiser of the tour was History department of our college but maximum participation was from Bsc students. Then after rounds of tendering, negotiating, amending, announcing the dates were set tickets were booked and hotels reserved and backpacks were stuffed.

This and the next few posts on this blog will be regarding this tour away from the main idea of this blog, so stay tuned.
