The Duo
From the deltas of sundarbans to the tech city of bangluru the politicians who rule these are aray of this duo, the Modi-Shah. With recent capitalisation of the opportunity that arose in Bihar, adding one more hindi heartland to the saffron tide the opposition has taken a defensive step. The safforanisation of Bihar has left the Yadav parivar very very frustrated and infurious over the shifting of camp by Nitish Kumar. And it has also paved a road of victory for BJP in 2019 Ls as well as assembly election. With a sweeping win of 72 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh Shah had orchasted his political managerial capacity, and again with a surprisingly and marvelous 323 out of 420 seats in 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly election, proving all the political pundits wrong, he had displayed a textbook example of micromanagement of campaign.
Obviously with eyes set on Gujarat and Karnataka polls the horns have already blown. Arun Jaitley appointed as poll manager of BJPs bastion Gujarat and Prakas JAvadekar of congress ruled Karnataka. With Gujarat BJp has some special chemestry, a state which has not yet seen a congress rule nearly for past two decades as well as the home state of the duo, they are claiming to wie out congress from the assembly, which might be true only time will tell. Congress on the other hand has its own headche, incumbacy no state leadership figure, and the fact itself that Gujarat is a BJP bastian. Recent example of incumbancy when Shankhar Vaghela a congress veteran decided to end his relation with the grand old party shows how fragile the party is in GUjarat, but AHmad Patel(close aid of Sonia Gandhi) getting elected to Rajya sabha amidst a lot of cross voting and kind of fraud voting alligations has boosted their morale. For BJP it more or like matter of their prestige
not just to win the election but win it by huge margin, towards congress mukt India. The only factor headache to BJP is Hardik Patel, a student leader who led the patidar agitation in 2015 against the government has kind of hurt BJPs interests. But the latest civic polls result held in NOvember 2016 gave a clear cut majority to BJP winning 107 out of 123 seats. Transition from anandiben Patel to Vijaybhai RUpani has somewhat proved beneficial to Gujarat BJP. Nonethelss it will be Shahs and Modis prestige at stake when GUjarat goes for polls and as predicted by many odds are in their favour with BJP retaining Gujarat in 2017.
